1989	Settling of the succession by Mr. Graf The Frech company in Schorndorf, manufacturer of diecasting machines, is looking for a partner company in the field of machine controls and taking over PRETEC LTD as subsidiary of FRECH Internationale Beteiligungen.
1990	1990 Start of the manufacturing of machine controls for FRECH under the management of Mr. Michael Marks as managing director at PRETEC LTD
1992	On December 11, 1992, the expansion of the PRETEC LTD building is being inaugurated
1997	On August 1, 1997, Mr. Hans-Peter Wagner is taking over the the management from Mr. Michael Marks
1998	In June 1998 ERS Messtechnik AG stops the activities In August 1998 PRETEC LTD is taking over the various activities of ERS Messtechnik AG completely Staff and machinery of ERS Messtechnik AG are being integrated into PRETEC LTD at their location in Port
2002	The board of directors decides to divide the sales activities from the production. Mr. Rossel becomes head of PRETEC Ltd., responsible from now on for the manufacturing only. PRETEC Measurement Technique Ltd. is founded. Mr. Wagner becomes managing director of same.
2004	IBB Technology takes over PRETEC Measurement Technique Ltd. and unites all employees of the two companies as well as their activities. The new name of the company is PRETEC GmbH.
2007	PRETEC Metrology (Mr. H.P. Wagner} takes over PRETEC from IBB Technology
