The 4000 SERIES Analog / Digital Comparator measures, analyzes, computes and processes data. It can control tool positions and be programmed to work by itself or in a network of several instruments.

Ideal for simple gaging in the shop, or combined with optional custom programmed EPROM's for multiplexing, or for sophisticated network applications.

Compatible with all PRETEC probes, air electronic converters and other manufacturers' gage heads (Tesa, Brown & Sharpe, Metem, Solartron).

Battery assisted memory retains all data, even if the unit is turned off. Data collection  resumes at the exact point of interruption anytime the instrument is turned on again. (Battery type: Lithium 320A, life approx. 5 years).

Automatic zero setting, continuous or pulse reading.

Dual gage head input, with multiplexer up to 8 inputs

Two different measurements with one of the SERIES 2900 electronic transducers, with two electronic transducer individually or in differential mode, static or dynamic or other combinations, is now for PRETEC 4701-2 reality. The EPROM 41110 transforms the existing PRETEC 4701 Analog / Digital Comparator into an instrument of the new generation.
