The PRETEC series 2900 half bridge electronic
transducers have been designed to make them compatible with most brands of
comparators, by a switchable bridge in the connector. All models are
furnished with hard-chrome plated 8mm dia. shaft, a 2.5mm dia. carbide
contact point with a 2.5mm thread. A variety of carbide, ruby, flat,
chisel and roller contact points are available.
There is no valid specification for the electrical values of inductive probes. This is one
of the reasons why they are normally not exchangeable.
In order to avoid disadvantages in case of replacement or delivery delays, all PRETEC
probes can easily be adapted to many electronic measuring instruments in the market (i.e.
Tesa, Hommel, Metem a.s.o.) by means of a switchable bridge inside the connector.
The construction is based on our long experience in probe manufacturing. Even under rough
conditions the probe guarantees a good repeatability of the measurement. The body of the
standard probe O 8-h6 x 80 mm) is carbide chromed and ball bearing guided. An additional
roller bearing locks the probe head against distortion. The pre-travel and
the post-travel
